Sturdy and Weatherproof:
This WINDSTORM® sign board is durable and weather-resistant. Thanks to its 20L-capacity hollow base (which can be filled with water or sand), it offers a strong and steady design. When filled, this base weighs up to 50kg, offering a wind-resistant display in wind speeds of up to 20mph/30kph. The poster case, with a lockable frame for security, also has waterproof internal gaskets to prevent water from damaging your displays, while the base is constructed specifically to prevent rainfall from affecting the battery.
Battery-Powered Illumination:
This LED pavement sign can operate entirely using battery technology for an advertising board that is truly portable and flexible. The supplied battery will power the illuminations on the sign for up to 12 hours at a time – or, for continuous power, you can run the sign directly from a UK plug socket. You can choose between two brightness levels: Max brightness (1000 - 1200 Lux) which lasts roughly 8 hours, and Energy Saver Mode (650 - 700 Lux) which lasts for 12 hours.
The rechargeable LiFeP04 25.6 Volt, 10-amp lithium battery is housed securely in the base of the sign, within a waterproof compartment. Extremely reliable, it will operate within temperature ranges of -10 / +50 degrees Celsius and features an integrated battery life digital indicator display.
Your WINDSTORM® LED pavement sign can be operated in two ways; directly by using the switch on the battery itself of by using the remote control unit (supplied). This works from up to 50m away, making changing the brightness or switching your sign off and on quick and convenient.
Do I Need Backlit Posters For LED signs?
Yes, for effective backlit advertising, you will need to purchase special poster prints. This particular illuminated advertising board features a double-sided display lit with integrated OSRAM® LED lighting panels which are finished with 4mm acrylic glass plates. These have been dotted and laser processed to offer even light diffusion across the panels. To effectively accentuate your advertising, you should use a backlit film media for your display. Traditional media and PVC may not work effectively in a lightbox-style display as it may block the light rather than illuminate.
