    Water Base Sign

    The Whirlwind water base pavement sign is a heavy-duty outdoor advertising sign available in two sizes A1 and A0. 

    Perfect for showcasing promotions and advertising posters outside of shops, businesses, on forecourts and in car parks. The hollow base can be filled with water or sand for stability when in use. 

    The open poster display frame is double-sided and comes with PET protective poster covers that keep your branding protected from the elements. 

    The spring-loaded sign is mounted on metal coil springs that gently sway with the wind making it able to withstand winds up to approx 13-18mph when filled to capacity with water.

    Built-in wheels are located on the underside of the water base making it easy to move locations when needed.

    1. Using Your Own Artwork
    If you have your own artwork, you can upload this during the checkout process or alternatively you can upload via WeTransfer (please include your order number so we can match with your order). Your artwork will automatically go through our Free of Charge artwork checking service and you will automatically receive a visual proof for sign-off. We will never send your artwork to print without consent from you. During this stage our designers will notify you of any concerns they may have with quality or resolution.

    The display board I bought was advertised as weather proof and waterproof . It is fairly good quality I would say . However it is not exactly waterproof but water resistant. So water did get in a bit . Not a big deal to me really. But I really appreciate their customer service team who pro-actively call to check whether the purchase and delivery was alright.
    They actively follow up the problem despite the fact that I did not complained about it but just mentioned that and did emphasis it is no big issue and is useable .
    They came back to me the next day (today) with what they found out and apologise and suggestion of what I could do .
    Definitely will use this company again despite the minor issue.

    I needed to order a display sign - Whirlwind Pavement Sign A1, I had problems ordering via internet, so placed the order and made payment over the phone very easily, and received a helpful friendly member of staff. My order confirmation was e-mailed to me same day, and the sign arrived next day. The sign is of great quality , it is well made, solid and robust, for my company, which is a builders merchant, this sign is perfect, as it's double sided advertising, manoeuvrable, and weatherproof, with the option of filling with sand or water to stop it being blown away.     We purchased the Pavement Signs some years ago for our client and he contacted us recent to say that one of the covers had broken and the other three were looking a bit sad. They are continuously in use. I emailed a general enquiry to see if replacements were available on a Saturday morning - not expecting that the company would abel to help or would take a while to respond. The signs themselves are well made and very sturdy. Mounting posters could not be easier and while moving the signs around is a breeze, they are heavy enough when filled to make them very stable indeed.     Great value A1 pavement sign - Very strong and durable We've had this swinging A1 pavement display sign outside our shop for three months now have been really impressed with it. It has a really nice satin anodised Aluminium finish and large stable base which you fill with water (or sand if you prefer). It's easy to move around, just drain the water out and it's portable - easy to move around. Perfect for what we wanted and even stood up to the gail force winds that hit the UK back in February 2011! Highly recommended and XL Displays delivered really quickly and at a really low price!
