Water Base Signs

Water Base Signs are our most heavy duty pavement sign solution and definitely our most popular. The double sided poster display boards are mounted onto hollow bases that must be filled with water or sand. This provides great stability and durability when used outside. The majority of Water Base Pavement Signs also have metal coil springs that enable the poster board to flex slightly in the wind putting less pressure on the base and poster frame.

Due to the size of Water Base Pavement Signs, they do require some self-assembly on delivery. The majority of signs will be delivered in two parts, the hollow water base and the poster frame board. Inside the box, we include assembly instructions and tools (if required) to complete assembly. 

Where possible, assembly is tool-free and can be completed by one person. There may be some models that require a second person (such as the extra large 40" x 60" water base signs). Once assembled, all you need to do is fill the base with water and position the pavement sign where you desire. 

To fill the base with water, simply remove the cap, insert hose and fill to capacity. We recommend filling to capacity for maximum stability. To move the water-filled signboard, simply tilt on its side and use the wheeled base to manoeuvre into position. 

Changing posters takes less than a minute. Snap open the poster frame and remove the protective poster covers. Insert poster, and clear PET cover and close all four sides of the snap frame again.

All Water Base Pavement Signs have built-in wheels on the underside of the base (on one side only). To move the water base sign you would tilt the sign on the same side of the wheels (using the poster frame) and transport the pavement sign along carefully to your chosen destination. Although the signs are much heavier when filled to capacity, thanks to the wheeled base no heavy lifting is required.

Water Base Signs are manufactured specifically for outdoor use in moderate weather conditions. They are made using a combination of waterproof and rust-resistant materials that are robust and durable enough to resist the effects of wet water. Complete with PET waterproof poster covers that protect against rain and UV rays, ensuring long-lasting poster protection.

To avoid damage, we do advise Water Base Signs are stored inside overnight or during adverse weather such as strong winds and gales, severe storms and heavy downpours. This is to safeguard your pavement sign, and property, and to ensure the safety of the public.

All our Water Base Pavement Signs are backed by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. If you are not completely happy with the advertising sign that you have please contact us. Water Base Pavement Signs are available to buy with or without printed posters. You can choose to add poster prints at the time of purchase and save up to 30% on print when compared with buying posters separately at a later date. 

If you wish to buy poster prints at a later date, you can buy Pavement Sign Posters in a range of sizes including A0, A1, A2, A3, 20" x 30", 30" x 40" and 40" x 60". 

You can supply your own artwork and our in-house design team will ensure it is print-ready before sending it to print. Alternatively, we offer an in-house graphic design service where we can help design your pavement sign posters for you.

Water Base Signs that are held in stock and are purchased without printed posters will be dispatched the next working day on a next-day delivery. If you order your Water Base Sign with printed posters, we allow an extra three days (this is subject to change) for print and production. 

If you require graphic design for your printed posters, your manufacturing lead time will begin when your design proof is signed off.

You can add graphic design service to your order during the checkout process online and take the stress out of designing your own artwork. One of our designers will work with you to help create your poster artwork. Once you have completed your order, you will be contacted by an allocated designer who will call you to take your design brief. We will create your artwork and send you a visual proof for you to sign off. We never send anything to print without your approval.
