They are most likely found in retail parks, garage forecourts, motorway stations, petrol stations, events and car parks.

They come in a range of styles and sizes, all featuring double-sided advertising poster boards for maximum advertising impact. These signs are specifically made for outdoor use, and designed to withstand various weather conditions. Most of our Forecourt Signs have a water base which must be filled with water or sand for stability.

Despite their considerable size, portability is a key design feature. Most forecourt signs come with built-in wheels on the underside of the base, enabling easy relocation and overnight storage, even when loaded with water.

However, if your plan involves placing a pavement sign adjacent to a public highway, it is necessary to obtain the appropriate permissions. It is advisable in all cases to consult your local authority for specific regulations governing pavement signs in your area.

It is crucial to note that having public liability indemnity insurance is a must, as it provides essential coverage in case someone sustains an injury due to your pavement sign. When installing a Business Sign, keep the following considerations in mind:

• Choose a sign that is appropriate for the available space, avoiding overcrowding.
• Maintain the display in a clean and well-kept condition to ensure it presents a positive image.
• Regularly inspect and maintain the sign to prevent the formation of sharp edges to minimise health and safety risks.
• Ensure that the pavement sign does not obstruct pedestrian pathways. Leave enough space for safe passage by pedestrians, including those with wheelchairs and pushchairs.
